Welcome to the home of the Boone County High School Instrumental Music Department!  Boone County High School is located in Florence, Kentucky and has a school population of about 1500 students.  The Boone County High School Instrumental Music Department is the home of the Rebel Brigade Show Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Pep Band.

Since switching to a non-competitive marching band format in 2009, the Boone County Instrumental Music Department has become one of the most comprehensive programs in Kentucky.  Besides the Show Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Pep Band, the program also offers Woodwind Ensemble, Clarinet Choir, Flute Choir, Brass Choir, Saxophone Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Steel Drum Band and a Trombone Ensemble.  The program also sponsors a chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society.  In the Fall of 2011, we introduced a course in Music Technology.
